A combined examination & functional neurology
The doctor combines a clinical examination from modern medicine, the four examinations of traditional medicine (looking, listening, asking, taking the pulse), functional neurology and Applied Kinesiology. The aim is to find the chain of causes across the three sides of the “health triangle”: structure (muscles, bones and joints, posture), chemistry (nutrition, hormones, the medicines you take) and mind (stress, emotions, sleep).

Acupuncture & moxibustion
Sterile needles act on acupuncture points and motor points to ease pain, relax muscles, and regulate the nervous and hormonal systems. The points are chosen according to the cause found in your examination, not from a one-size-fits-all formula. Acupuncture is commonly indicated for musculoskeletal pain, functional nervous disorders, insomnia, menstrual disorders and many other chronic conditions.

Herbal decoctions
Each herbal formula is modified for the individual according to the pattern, the person’s constitution and the stage of treatment, rather than following one fixed formula. The doctor takes into account the medicines you are taking and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The clinic can cook (decoct) the herbs for you, so they are ready to use. Read more →
